The 'B' Hive & Bumble Creatives CIC
The Bicester Hive (or ‘B’ Hive) is a natural development of Bumble Creatives CIC, a vision for improved community and wellbeing services within Bicester. Building on our work and partnership opportunities, the Hive aims to bring together local organisations, practitioners, and residents to create a shared, inclusive space where creativity, connection, and care can flourish.
By collaborating across sectors, we seek to strengthen local support networks and ensure that the whole community benefits from accessible, person-centred wellbeing opportunities.
Holistic Health & Wellbeing for Bicester
We are focussed on the Holistic Health and Wellbeing of Bicester and surrounding villages from children to adults and will support those experiencing mental health issues, individuals with additional support needs, low self-esteem, confidence and stress.
Our goal will always be to help individuals and groups to develop and expand their wellbeing capacities of self-awareness, confidence and esteem, communication and social skills, emotional regulation, identity and self-concept, belonging, potential, resilience and recovery.
Informal Creative Workshops
Our focus is on providing positive experiences that benefit individual health, community engagement, social connectedness and emotional wellbeing.
Our workshops enhance overall wellbeing, can be combined with other aspects of a healthy lifestyle to bring people together from different parts of the community.
Participation in a regular creative activity develops skills, knowledge, confidence and improves overall wellbeing by boosting your happiness chemicals.
Community Collaboration and Parnerships
Our goal is to encourage, nurture and provide opportunities for the community to come together. School and community groups will benefit by having access to creative workshops and the community will benefit from coming together, improving social connectedness and community wellbeing.
Community consultation will be a core part of the process to ensure we are meeting the needs of the people, ensuring the activities we provide are relevant and informed.
Equality of Access
Ensuring access is open to all individuals, with a focus on those experiencing emotional health challenges, disadvantaged and vulnerable populations and those who may not have previously had access to wellbeing programmes.
Workshops will be offered within Bicester and surrounding villages. Our aim is to secure funding to provide these workshops free of charge or at minimal cost so that the barriers to participation are reduced.
